Q: Once I decide that I need your shredding service, how long does it take to get the materials destroyed?
A: It depends upon the location and size of the job, but company personnel can usually respond within 48 hours.
Q: Do you provide locking containers for material to be stored in until it is ready to be shredded?
A: Yes. Locking cabinets/containers with narrow slots for materials are provided.
Q: What if I only need to use your shredding service one time?
A: Ark-La-Tex Shredding Service can provide a regular service or a one-time only service for a clean-out of records.
Q: What happens after the material is shredded?
A: The material is baled into large bales and transported to a paper mill for recycling.
Q: Do rubber bands, staples, paper clips or other types of paper fasteners have to be removed?
A: No.
Q: Are there restrictions on the color or type of paper that can be dropped into the secure cabinets and containers?
A: No, sorting is not necessary.
Q: When do I have to pay for the service?
A: Although some customers elect to pay at the time of service, most customers receive an invoice in the mail approximately one week after the service is provided. Payment
is due within 30 days of receipt of the invoice.
Q: Do I receive documentation at the completion of shredding?
A: Yes, you will receive a Certificate of Destruction. |
